主要从事动物的环境适应机制研究,利用进化基因组学和群体遗传学系统探讨基因型和表型的关系,阐明不同遗传元件(转座子、调控区、编码区等)在生物适应新/极端环境过程中的贡献和作用机制,评估不同动物类群对未来气候变化的响应和预适应潜力。获得国家“万人计划”青年拔尖人才,云南省杰青/中青年学术和技术带头人,国家自然科学基金,云南大学高层次引进人才等项目支持,并在本领域杂志(如PNASMol Biol EvolBioinformaticsGenome Biol EvolGenome Research等)发表多篇学术论文。
